The Chocolate Bar at Marina Bay Sands
Situated on the 57th floor of the Marina Bay Sands, The Chocolate Bar offers a buffet spread of 57 delectable chocolate desserts. Helmed by Executive Pastry Chef Alejandro Luna, the Chocolate Bar is modeled after Boston’s Langham Hotel’s Chocolate Bar, which is well-known for Chef Luna’s sweet creations.
The Chocolate Bar offers you novel treats that goes beyond the usual chocolate tart or mousse that you would have at the end of a meal. It is a scrumptious culinary experience of chocolate desserts that are innovative and fresh. Dark, milk and white chocolate desserts? You name it, they have it. And while you’re being spoilt for choice by the rows of chocolate desserts decked out, be sure to look out for the chocolate ball-joint figures that add a quirky touch to the chocolicious experience.
All of Chef Luna’s creations have character. Top on our list is the Southeast Asian-inspired “Steamed Chocolate Crème”, which is a chocolate ganache wrapped in banana leave and served with Banana Chutney. I dare say that it is reminisce of Peranakan Kueh with a chocolate twist. And true to Asian-style steaming, this chocolate crème comes in a dim sum basket. Another clever dessert by The Chocolate Bar is the dark chocolate praline that comes with a “squirt tube” of Sherry, bringing a new dimension to the wine-and-chocolate pairing concept. Simply pop the praline in your mouth followed by a squirt of Sherry, which opens up a myriad of flavours from the pairing. Must-tries at The Chocolate Bar are the traditional all-American mini donuts and chocolate bread, both of which are signature desserts by Chef Luna.

The Chocolate Bar, which is situated at The Club at Marina Bay Sands, Sands Sky Park, is opened from 8pm to midnight (Mon – Sun). The Chocolate Bar buffet is at S$38++ per person ($54++ per person, including champagne).
