Chocolate Eggs for Easter!

Easter is around the corner and everyone is getting festive and creative with Easter Egg Designs! This week the Chocolate Space gives you an update on some of the best chocolate Easter Eggs around Singapore!

Where is the Largest Chocolate Egg in Singapore?

Did you know that the largest Chocolate Egg is Singapore was unveiled at One Raffles Place on 13 April 2011 and made it into the Singapore Book of Records? Designed by renowned chocolatier Michel Laline, who is also the founder of Chocolat Factory Spain, the Egg is 89cm long and 59 cm wide! No one knows how heavy it weighs, but there is a contest to guess the weight of the Egg and the lucky winner will stand a chance to win prizes from the Chocolat Factory. Viewing ends 21 April 2011.

Best Egg Designs at Galbiati Gourmet Deli!

Our favourite Easter Eggs this season were from Galbiati Gourmet Deli at Rail Mall [406 Upper Bukit Timah Road]. I love their designer Easter Eggs that have a tres chic snazzy spontaneity of colours! If you’re feeling quirky, the goofy Bucked-teeth Bunny Egg will surely make you crack up with laughter. But its not all just fun and games, Galbiati also offers Victorian-inspired Eggs with floral designs, which are oh-so quaint and fit for a princess. Prices of Easter Eggs range from S$36 – 46.

Limited Beaded Eggs from Godiva!

Other eye-catching designs this season were Godiva’s Beaded Eggs that shimmers with brightly coloured sequins and beads, reminding you of a Brazilian Carnivale – full of life and zest! There is a pocket full of sixteen Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocoalte, Coconut Milk Chocolate and Almond Milk Chocolate eggs! We’ve found a thought way of re-using the Beaded Egg for jewelry keepsake once we’ve happily emptied the contents inside! Price of Beaded Egg is S$89.
